Its prior to the trip and the bills are stacking up. It’s a wonder to God’s good creation that there is so much stuff to spend your money on. You may wonder how 2 young bucks can fit 5 months of living onto a bike. My (Josh’s) draft gear list is up here. This will be road tested prior to departure. I am travelling as light as I think I reasonably can. We can all manage with a few less clothes but I intend to carry a good quota of whiskey for morale sake.
It actually feels quite liberating to carry all your necessities with you. Like a snail with a shell all you really need is a quiet spot to hang your head.
The first aid kit is draft, the mechanical and spares aspect will be purchased on site after purchasing the bikes so is sparse also.
